Today, Leah has graduated from her apnea monitor. When the babies came home in November, Leah was still having the occasional episode of forgetting to breathe or even a few times her heart would beat really slow. So, instead of staying in the hospital we came home with an apnea monitor. Fortunately, we had no major episodes that required attention while we were home and she has finally outgrown it. I hate to say that I was bummed about giving it back…I had become attached. I felt safe knowing she would alarm if something was wrong…now, I just pinch her to make sure!!
