Our First Adventure

The 60-degree weather on St. Patrick's Day was just too nice to pass up. Since the babies and I only frequent the doctor's office (and it is never on a nice day), we (I) jumped at the chance to get out. So, we loaded the truck and headed to the lake. Bear wanted to go too, but had to stay home...poor Bear! We have yet to figure out how our first spoiled child can share the seat with the babies!

AJ and Leah loved the ride. On the way to the lake, both were fascinated by looking out the window. On the way home, they were out! They are such good riders....no tears (until mommy had to go through Dairy Queen drive thru and the truck stopped).

I am looking forward to more sunny days when the kiddos can get out. Daddy is looking forward to a sunny summer so he can start again on the house....and hopefully make progress this year! We had to stop last year early because of the pregnancy (I was in and out of the hospital too many times), but now this year...we have helpers!

Leah awake but in la-la land after the trip
Daddy is pretty excited to show the kiddos all his hard work.
Here are the triplet's trees. This is the view from our bedroom...our three little ones! We look forward to adding a special spot and lots of flowers around the trees this year. Emma...we miss you so much and wish you could be here with us to experience it all, but I know you are there.
AJ is more fascinated with daddy's hands than the house. Mommy & Crew

  2. Hi, I found your blog through the Hummel's. I met you at a preemie meeting back in September(not that you always remember people when you have babies in the NICU) and again at the Feb. meeting (my daughter was the talkative one). Your little ones look like they are doing so good! My daughter was a 27weeker and came home on an apnea monitor, so I know about a third of what you are going through. I am sure it's hard to get out very often, but hopefully I will see you at future preemie meetings.
